Christmas Mini Session at My Downtown Indianapolis Studio — The Spaeth Family

This year’s Christmas Mini Sessions in downtown Indianapolis were such a joy, and the Spaeth family was the very first new family I had the honor of meeting! Out of the 25 holiday mini sessions I photographed, they were my only brand-new clients—so welcoming them into the studio was extra special.

We met at my Studio Share space in downtown Indianapolis, where I usually photograph newborns and young families. Having a family with older kids in the studio was a fun change of pace, and they made the session incredibly easy and enjoyable from the moment they walked in.

Fast, Fun, and Full of Holiday Spirit

Holiday minis move fast (that’s the magic of them!), but the Spaeths absolutely nailed it. Even in such a quick session, we captured a variety of beautiful images filled with personality, connection, and a little Christmas sparkle. I was so impressed with how naturally they interacted and how effortlessly the kids eased into the space.
