Let me start by saying, I think that this is one of my favorite travel stories to date. After hiking uphill for a few miles, then up several flights of stairs to reach the basilica, I noticed Angela and Mike. The two were trying to selfie with the gorgeous view in the background on their iPhones. I heard them speak English and then offered to take the picture of them on their phone. They agreed. After, I joked how nice it was to hear someone speak English. They laughed and we got to talking about our trips. Somewhere along the way I asked if they were up for a mini session right then and there.

They agreed again. It was amazing. We connected over travel stories, life, and food. I can’t stop thinking about how amazing it was to make the connection on a whim. Thanks for trusting me, Angela and Mike!
