I use to be the queen of #FridayIntroductions posts where I would post a selfie of myself every week and share a few fun facts about me and my business. Being that life gets in the way, or maybe I need more selfies, I figured I’d share a bit about me. Here are a few things you likely didn’t know about me:

1. I’m a Big Sister

One of my favorite titles. My sister is 14 years old and as sassy as can be. Karsyn is incredibly smart, witty, and beautiful. We often FaceTime and send memes back and forth. This past summer she participated in a photography project for 4H in which I was able to help her with. Kiptyn is 6 years old and LOVES dinosaurs. He’s also a little genius and loves to learn. Kindergarten has been the best for him and he can not wait for 1st grade. He loves to tell stories and give hugs. Keane is the wild one at 4 years old. He loves puppies and has the most contagious laugh and smile. He calls me ‘Sissy Creighton’ and thinks my dogs, Sophie and Stella, are a hoot.

2. I Didn’t Always Want to Be A Photographer

While I always have loved taking photos and you’ll find me toting a camera in many of my childhood pictures, I didn’t always want to be a photographer. Actually, it wasn’t really a dream or aspiration of mine until after I graduated high school (not that long ago!) Before their were photos, I wanted to be a baker/chef, and before that I was into interior design. Funny there was always a creative background to me!

3. I Grew Up Hunting / Fishing

This is one of my friends favorite facts about me. Apparently, they find this funny because I DO NOT like to get dirty, and I like things clean, organized, etc,. Jokes on them! I hunted and fished with my dad and uncles my entire childhood.

4. My First Job was at a Taco Shoppe

My first job at 14 was at The Taco Shoppe at Indiana Beach. Not just a Taco Shoppe, like THE Taco Shoppe. As in, as seen on The Food Network. I loved it and still miss it. Greg if you’re reading this, I need 4 tacos with extra lettuce, ASAP.

5. A Family of Small Business Owners

My love for small business goes deep. I come from a long line of small business owners and I absolutely have a big place in my heart for them. I learned much of what I know from my family and their businesses. I am forever grateful for this!

6. I Hate Spaghetti

People laugh at this one, but for whatever reason, I am absolutely repulsed by spaghetti. I literally can’t eat it!

7. I Have Never Had a Speeding Ticket

It’s true, I’ve never had a speeding ticket, or any ticket for that matter. I’m known for being too-safe at times (if that’s a thing!)
