This past week, I had the joy of photographing the Yale Family at the stunning Flat Fork Creek Park in Fishers. It was such a special session for me because the last time I had Kelly and Zach in front of my camera was at their wedding in 2018. Now, years later, I got to reunite with them and meet their newest addition to the family—what an honor!

As a wedding photographer, I often spend months, sometimes even years, getting to know my couples as they plan for their big day. But after the wedding, life takes off in so many exciting directions, and I don’t always get the chance to see them again. That’s why it means the world to me when my couples reach out for milestone sessions, whether it’s an anniversary, maternity photos, or family portraits like this one. Being able to capture their evolving love story beyond the wedding day is something I truly cherish.

Flat Fork Creek Park provided the perfect backdrop for the Yale Family’s session. With its scenic trails, beautiful open fields, and peaceful wooded areas, the park’s natural beauty complemented the warmth and joy this family radiates. We spent the session chasing golden-hour light, letting the little one explore, and capturing genuine, love-filled moments between them all.
