The Riggle Family met me on a beautiful day at Coxhall Gardens in Carmel, Indiana for their mini maternity session—and what a joy it was to photograph them! This stunning park is one of my favorite locations for maternity and family sessions in the Carmel and Westfield area, offering the perfect blend of open spaces, soft light, and natural charm.

Big Brother Theo had a blast exploring the grass, trees, and winding paths. He brought so much energy and curiosity to the session, and it was such a treat capturing his sweet little moments before he becomes a big brother!

I was absolutely in love with the soft, coordinated colors this family wore. And can we talk about those bright blue eyes? Every single one of them! Madison looked absolutely radiant, glowing with that late-pregnancy beauty. She’s due in just a few short weeks with baby boy number two, and I’m so excited to see them again soon for their newborn session in Westfield.

There’s something incredibly special about capturing these fleeting moments—before a family of three becomes a family of four. Sessions like this remind me how meaningful photography can be: preserving the emotion, connection, and anticipation of this exciting chapter.
