Mother’s Day Mommy & Me Mini Session | Carmel Indiana Family Photographer

One of the most meaningful parts of my job as a Carmel Indiana family photographer is building lasting relationships with the families I photograph—and Kimia’s family is such a special one to me. This was our sixth session together! I first met Kimia and her husband James when I photographed their wedding back in 2020, and I’ve been lucky enough to document so many of their life milestones since then.

Since their wedding, they’ve welcomed sweet little Aiden into their lives, and I’ve absolutely loved watching him grow. He is beyond cute, and every time I see him, he’s got even more personality and charm!

This spring, Kimia and Aiden joined me for a Mommy and Me mini session at Coxhall Gardens in Carmel to celebrate Mother’s Day—and it was pure magic. The bond between them is so sweet, and it really shines through in every photo. I especially loved the colors they wore for the session—soft, timeless tones that worked perfectly against the natural spring backdrop.

Capturing these quiet, joyful moments between a mother and her child is such an honor. There’s something incredibly powerful about pausing time for just a second to preserve this chapter of motherhood.
