Maternity Session on the Farm | Monticello Indiana Family Photographer

There’s something so special about getting to document life’s biggest milestones for the same family over the years—and that’s exactly how it’s been with Leanne and John. From graduation portraits to engagement and wedding photos, and now a maternity session as they prepare to welcome a baby girl this fall, it’s been such a joy to be part of their journey.

We met at their beautiful family farm near Monticello, Indiana, where they’ve done many of their past sessions. This spot holds so many memories for them, and I love that it’s also home to some very special family members—their sweet dog, Stella, and their two horses, who have been part of nearly every session we’ve done together.

This time, we celebrated the upcoming arrival of their daughter with a relaxed and heartfelt maternity session on the farm. The golden evening light, the open fields, and their bond with their animals made it a perfect setting to reflect on this new season of life.

Leanne and John are going to be such amazing parents, and I’m so excited to see them grow their family. We’re even planning to continue the tradition with newborn photos this September once baby girl makes her debut—and I already can’t wait.
