Some sessions are extra special, and this one with Cam and Katie was one of those evenings I’ll never forget. We explored a gorgeous hidden gem in the Indianapolis area—a spot filled with beautiful light, textures, and scenery that set the perfect tone for their engagement photos.

A Family I’m Grateful to Photograph Again

One of the things that made this engagement session so meaningful was the history I already share with this family. I photographed Katie’s sister’s wedding, and Katie herself has been a guest at another wedding I captured. It’s such an honor when families continue to invite me back to document their most important milestones—it feels like being welcomed into the family each time.

Working with people who already know my style and trust my vision is a gift. With Cam and Katie, it was clear from the very beginning that we clicked creatively. Their energy, laughter, and willingness to be themselves in front of the camera made this session so much fun.

This location truly took my breath away. The light was golden and glowy, the surroundings were filled with rich textures, and the whole setting gave their engagement photos an elegant yet natural feel. I love finding unique spots in the Indianapolis area for engagement photos, because it means my couples walk away with images that feel personal and one-of-a-kind.

Looking Ahead to Their Wedding

Cam and Katie will be getting married in August 2026 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and I cannot wait to celebrate with them and their family again. If their wedding day is anything like their engagement session, it will be filled with joy, love, and so much laughter.
