There’s nothing more special than photographing a couple in a place that holds deep meaning to them—and Rosalie and Sean’s engagement session was the perfect example. We met on a beautiful evening at Butler University, where Rosalie attended college, and it was the perfect backdrop to kick off their engagement photos in Indianapolis.

As we explored the beautiful architecture and quiet corners of campus, we chatted about everything from wedding planning to career goals. Rosalie and Sean have such a warm and easygoing energy, and I loved getting to know them more as we walked the grounds. It’s always a treat when an engagement session feels more like hanging out with old friends than work.

After soaking in the charm of Butler’s campus, we headed down to Holcomb Gardens, one of my favorite hidden gems in Indianapolis. Between the elegant fountain, the stone steps, and the peaceful river view, Holcomb Gardens gave us the perfect blend of romance and nature. These two were absolute naturals in front of the camera—so relaxed, so in love, and so clearly excited for their future together.

I’m counting down the days until their spring 2026 wedding at Regions Tower in downtown Indianapolis. With sweeping views of the city skyline and such a wonderful couple at the center of it all, I know it’s going to be an unforgettable day.
