Etheridge Family Fall Session | Greenwood, IN

I was beyond excited to work with the Etheridge family for their family photos this year! It feels so special to be able to document this moment for a family that has meant so much to me over the years. My connection with the Etheridges through my husband, Andrew, who met Dylan in college, and they’ve been friends ever since. I’ve had the privilege of knowing them for about six years now, and it’s been amazing to watch their family grow!

Amy and I were pregnant with our first babies at the same time—what an adventure that was! And now, here we are, with her family about to welcome their third little one into the world. It’s such a joy to see them so happy and thriving, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to have been the one to capture this chapter for them.

We chose a park in downtown Greenwood, Indiana for their session, and it turned out to be the perfect location. The natural beauty of the park paired with their bright smiles and the love they share made for some truly beautiful moments. What’s even more amazing? We captured the entire session in just about 15 minutes!

As a mom of a toddler myself, I completely understand how fleeting little ones’ attention spans can be. Working quickly and efficiently is key to keeping them engaged and making sure the session is enjoyable for everyone. I always make sure to keep things fun, light-hearted, and stress-free, and it was a breeze with the Etheridges. Their little ones were full of energy and personality, making it easy to capture some precious, authentic moments.

The beauty of family photography lies in those little, genuine moments—the ones that tell a story beyond just a posed picture. Whether it’s a shared laugh, a loving embrace, or the simple joy of a child playing, it’s those moments that make photos timeless. And that’s exactly what we captured together in this session.

I’m so honored that the Etheridge family trusted me to document such a meaningful time in their lives. I can’t wait to see how their family continues to grow, and I know this next chapter will be filled with even more love, laughter, and beautiful memories.
