As a Zionsville family photographer, there are few things I love more than capturing families I’ve had the honor of photographing for years — and this one is extra special. I recently got to photograph my brother-in-law’s beautiful growing family at Traders Point Creamery and their seasonal tree farm, and I feel so lucky we squeezed in this session before the true Midwest winter hit!
A Family I’ve Photographed Since the Beginning
I’ve been photographing their little family since the very beginning — back when their oldest was just a tiny, tiny baby. Watching their family grow has been one of my favorite parts of being a photographer. This year was especially meaningful as they just welcomed their third little boy, my newest nephew, Deacon!
Of course, I had to sneak in a few baby-only photos. When you’re the brand-new guy in the family, you deserve your own moment in the spotlight!
Late Fall Glow at Traders Point Creamery
This was my first time shooting at this particular Zionsville tree farm location, and wow… I might need to add it to my regular rotation. The late fall glowy light, the warm tones, and the natural textures of the evergreens made everything look magical. Even with the colder days approaching, the weather held out perfectly for us — crisp enough to feel like fall, but still comfortable for the kids.
Traders Point Creamery also gave us beautiful backdrops with its rustic charm, open fields, and natural Indiana scenery. It’s a dream location for Zionsville family photos, especially in the fall.
