A Beautiful Day with the Konopa Family at Cox Hall Gardens
I had the pleasure of working with the Konopa family for a recent photography session, and I can honestly say it was an absolute joy! From the moment we met, their positive energy and excitement to capture beautiful memories together were contagious. It’s always so rewarding when a family brings such a great attitude to a session, and the Konopas were no exception.
We met at the stunning Cox Hall Gardens in Carmel, Indiana—a beautiful, serene location that’s perfect for family portraits. The gardens and the historic mansion provided such a gorgeous backdrop for the photos. Walking around the grounds, we made our way through the lush greenery and charming architecture, stopping for photos at every turn. The entire family was so easygoing and fun, making the whole experience such a delight.
One thing that made this session extra special for me is that Lindsay, the mom, is also a photographer! As a fellow photographer, I felt so honored when she booked a session with me. It’s always such a treat to work with other creatives, and Lindsay’s trust in me to capture her family’s memories meant a lot. I loved getting to know her, and it was such a pleasure to work with her and her wonderful family.
And can we just talk about how adorable their kids are? Each of the three kids brought their own unique personality to the session, and they were so easy to photograph. Whether they were laughing, playing, or simply enjoying each other’s company, their love for one another truly shone through. It’s moments like these that make being a photographer so rewarding—capturing those genuine, unposed moments that make a family so special.
I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with the Konopa family, and I hope these images serve as beautiful reminders of this special time in their lives. Working with new people, especially fellow photographers, is always such a treat, and I look forward to the possibility of collaborating again in the future.
Thank you, Konopa family, for such a memorable session. I hope you enjoy these photos for years to come!
