Lauren & Philip’s Stunning Engagement Session at Hurstbourne Country Club

I had the pleasure of meeting Lauren and Philip last week in Louisville, KY, for their engagement session at the beautiful Hurstbourne Country Club. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect backdrop for these two—lush greenery, elegant architecture, and a little bit of golden sunlight peeking through the trees. But let me tell you, it was hot—and yet, Lauren and Philip absolutely nailed it. Despite the sweltering heat, they not only looked flawless but made it look effortless!

Lauren and Philip’s positive energy and easygoing nature made the entire session such a breeze. They braved the summer heat without a complaint, and I was in awe of how they still managed to smile and look so stunning! It was clear that they were just so excited to be spending this special time together, and that kind of joy is always contagious in front of the camera.

What made this session even more special was the support from Lauren’s family. They generously tagged along to help wrangle their dog (who, let’s be honest, is basically part of the family too!) and provided extra hands throughout the session. Not only did they help keep things running smoothly, but they also had water bottles lined up and ready to go whenever we needed them—talk about thoughtful! Having that kind of support makes a world of difference on a hot summer day.

All in all, we had a gorgeous session. From their outfits to the stunning location and the sweet moments between them, everything came together perfectly. This session definitely went down as a crowd favorite—and I’m not surprised! So many couples have asked to see the photos from this one, and I’m thrilled to finally share it with everyone. Lauren and Philip’s connection really shines through in each frame, and I know their wedding day will be just as beautiful.

I can’t wait to celebrate their big day, but for now, I’m so glad to be able to share this gorgeous engagement session!
