A Dreamy Maternity Session at Holcomb Gardens | Indianapolis Maternity & Newborn Photographer
When Rachel reached out to me about booking both a maternity and newborn session, I literally screamed in excitement. I had met Rachel and Cameron a few years ago at a wedding where Rachel was a bridesmaid, and since then, I’ve run into them here and there while photographing other couples and families. These two are so well connected—practically everyone I photograph seems to know them! It always feels like we’re just picking up where we left off.
Their maternity session at Holcomb Gardens at Butler University was absolutely beautiful. Holcomb Gardens is one of my favorite spots in Indianapolis for maternity photography—the peaceful gardens, tree-lined paths, and soft golden light make it the perfect backdrop for glowing mamas-to-be.
Rachel looked stunning as always, and the love between her and Cameron is truly something special. We spent the evening capturing the sweetest moments between them, celebrating this exciting chapter as they await the arrival of their baby boy. After the session, we ended up chatting in the parking lot for nearly an hour—honestly, I could hang out with these two all day! I’m so lucky to work with people who feel more like friends than clients. I’m so excited to see them again in a few weeks for baby boy’s newborn session/
I can’t wait to meet their little guy and photograph his newborn session soon. Sessions like these are why I love being an Indianapolis newborn and maternity photographer—getting to document these milestone moments for the most amazing families fills my heart.
If you’re expecting and looking for a maternity or newborn photographer in Indianapolis, I’d love to hear from you! Whether we’re strolling through Holcomb Gardens or snuggling a sleepy newborn in your home, I’m here to help you preserve these fleeting, beautiful moments.
