Ben & Molly’s Beautiful Engagement Session at Newfields: A Welcome Back!
I was beyond excited to have Ben and Molly back in front of my camera for their engagement session at Newfields! It’s hard to believe that the last time I saw these two was in late 2019 when they were planning for their Spring 2021 wedding. But, as we all know, COVID had other plans, and they had to reschedule. The silver lining? It gave me the opportunity to work with them again, and I couldn’t have been happier to see them!
We had such a fun time walking around Newfields, despite the post-thunderstorm humidity that greeted us. Anyone who’s been through a summer storm in Indianapolis knows that the weather can shift on a dime, and this day was no exception. But Ben and Molly were total troopers—handling the heat and humidity like champs while we made our way through the beautiful gardens and grounds. The light was also a bit unpredictable, but that just added a unique element to the session. We embraced the ever-changing light, and the results were stunning.
One of the things I love most about working with Ben and Molly is how easy they are to work with. They were just so relaxed, comfortable with each other, and genuinely happy to be spending this time together. Their love for each other really shines through in every photo, and I can’t wait for them to have their wedding photos to look back on for years to come.
Speaking of their wedding—I’m so excited to celebrate with them this winter at Crowne Plaza Union Station in Downtown Indianapolis. If their engagement session was any indication, their wedding is going to be full of joy, laughter, and beautiful moments. I can already tell it’s going to be a fantastic celebration!
Thank you, Ben and Molly, for trusting me to capture these special moments. I’m counting down the days until your big day—it’s going to be amazing!
