Sunny Sunday Morning Downtown Columbus, IN with Morgan and Brandon!

No one can convince me that Columbus, Indiana, isn’t the most perfect place for an engagement session—or any photo session, for that matter. The city is a hidden gem, known for its incredible architecture, rich history, and modern design elements, which are two of my favorite things to incorporate into my work! Every corner of downtown tells a story, from the beautifully structured buildings to the charming streets that make the perfect backdrop for capturing love and connection.

That’s why I was so excited when Morgan and Brandon agreed to meet me for a sunrise session on a crisp and peaceful Sunday morning. There’s something so magical about being downtown before the city wakes up—it feels like you have the whole place to yourself. The quiet streets, soft golden light, and the peaceful ambiance made for the dreamiest setting. And let me tell you, these two absolutely rocked their session!

From the moment I met Morgan and Brandon, I knew their session was going to be something special. They have such a natural and effortless love—full of laughter, sweet moments, and the kind of chemistry that makes my job so easy. I loved hearing about how they met, their wedding plans, and all the little details that make their relationship unique. Morgan is such a sweetheart, and we instantly connected over our shared love for good conversation and meaningful moments. It’s couples like them that remind me why I feel so lucky to do what I do!

We wandered through some of my favorite spots in Columbus Indiana for their engagement session, taking advantage of the stunning mix of urban and natural elements. From sleek modern buildings to hidden pockets of greenery, every backdrop seemed to complement their love story perfectly. Watching them interact, laugh, and just be themselves in front of the camera was so heartwarming. You could feel the joy and excitement radiating from them—it made the entire morning so much fun!

Morgan and Brandon, you two are amazing! Your energy, kindness, and love for each other made this session an absolute joy. I can already tell that your October wedding at Rustic Gatherings Wedding Barn in Martinsville is going to be nothing short of incredible. I can’t wait to capture even more of your love story on your big day!
