A Special Mother’s Day Session in Greenwood, Indiana

One of the greatest joys of being a photographer is building relationships that last well beyond the wedding day. A perfect example of that is my sweet friend and long-time client, Morgan. We met several years ago, and what started as a wedding booking has blossomed into something so much more—both personally and professionally. This session in Greenwood, Indiana was so special!

Morgan originally booked me to photograph her wedding while my husband and I were still living in Seymour, Indiana. Since then, she’s been one of my most loyal and supportive clients, continuing to choose me to document the big and small moments of her life—even through our move to the Indianapolis area. Over the years, I’ve had the absolute honor of photographing Morgan’s engagement session, wedding, family photos, mommy-and-me sessions, and more. Every time she reaches out, my heart swells with gratitude.

This past weekend was extra special. Morgan contacted me to book a family session in Greenwood, Indiana as a gift for her mom for Mother’s Day. We gathered at one of Greenwood’s beautiful local spots to photograph her with her mom, brother, and her brother’s children—four generations captured in one heartfelt session. These are the moments that remind me why I do what I do. It’s the ultimate honor to continue documenting life’s evolving seasons for my clients, year after year.

Morgan’s creativity shines beyond photos too—she recently launched an amazing banner business, and let me just say, she’s incredibly talented! She made a custom birthday banner for a friend’s party that turned out absolutely perfect, and I can’t wait to have her create one for my own son’s birthday this year!
