Levi and I purchased our first home last month and boy did we hit the jackpot. A realtor owned our home previously and had completely renovated the space. We have new appliances, new floors, windows, doors, bathrooms, even some walls! Literally everything is brand new! We truly got so lucky! I also got my dream of an open concept tri-level home.
Exciting stuff! If you know me, you know I absolutely love to decorate. It’s in my blood-from my grandma, passed down to my mom and aunts, it made it to me. I describe my style as a mix of clean and glam. I love bright whites, natural light, and crisp bold colors. I love texture and can’t say no to velvet!
In all transparency, I love to share. That being said, I really want to share our home decorating process with you all. When we first moved in March, . we came from a small two-bedroom apartment to a huge three bed three bathroom home with TWO living area spaces. Moral of the story, we needed (and kinda still need) a ton of things. However, I’m pretty happy with the way our living room is moving along and wanted to share.
It was important to me to add many pictures of our family (lets be honest, mainly Sophie) being a photographer, photos are so important to me. I want gallery walls showcasing my favorite people. Levi made my floating shelves for Christmas and they make a great addition to our living space.
I also wanted to add lots of greenery. I love the houseplant trend and im currently obsessed. The greens flow perfectly with my velvet couch and armchairs. The coffee table and side tables are gold structure with white marble on top. We purchased a sofa table for behind the couch, but its on back order and will be awhile!
The most important aspect to Levi was a new TV. Laughs aside, he deserves one after allowing me to have my pink living room! He loves to watch sports so new tv it was for Levi!
I’m still in the market for some funky pillows, but these will do for now!
