Fall Mini Sessions at Coxhall Gardens | The Lindsey Family

This year’s fall mini sessions were an absolute hit! 🍂 I had the most bookings I’ve ever had — multiple days filled with families (many brand new to me!) coming out to capture that perfect fall glow. It was such a joy seeing so many new faces and feeling the energy of the season come to life through my lens.

When I tell you morning sessions are the way to go with young kids, I mean it. The light is soft and dreamy, the air is crisp, and little ones are always in their best moods before nap time. This particular morning at Coxhall Gardens was pure magic.

The Lindsey family kicked off my day, and their sweet son August completely stole the show. He started out a little shy — which is totally normal for kids during photos — but it didn’t take long before he warmed up. Honestly, I live for those “little mean mug” moments from kids. There’s just something so endearing about their serious faces!

We spent our session exploring the gardens, playing a few little games, and soaking in the beautiful morning light. By the end, August was giggling and showing off that bright personality that I know his parents see every day.

I’m so grateful to have met this wonderful family and can’t wait to share more from my other sessions that day — each one was as unique and joyful as the families themselves.
