Let me start by saying, yes the wedding timeline is VERY important. But also, your day will NOT fall apart if your timeline does not play out exactly as expected! Consider your wedding day timeline or itinerary as your insurance policy. Having a plan of action not only insures that your day with flow smoothly, but that you get the images you’ve always dreamed of.
Over the past three years as a wedding photographer, I’ve realized that one of the biggest reasons a day does not flow well or is stressful is a bad timeline. While it seems like wedding days just fall into place, each event and picture is carefully thought out and curated beforehand. After all, if your stressed and crunched for timeline, your pictures will show that.
I know how important the timeline is. I feel like its my job to do everything humanly possible to make sure your day flows smoothly. More than anything, I want you both to have portraits and images of the two of you that you absolutely LOVE! So not only do I include personal timeline curation in package, I consider it one of the biggest assets to my wedding collection. I personally do everything I can to help my couples create the perfect timeline for them.
Sitting down with your day-of vendors and creating a timeline for your big day will help you reduce stress on the actual wedding day. You can decide when and where you will execute all of your day-of events beforehand. On your wedding day, your vendors and loved ones will be able to follow the schedule. Your day will flow much smoother when everyone knows when and where they need to be!
