There is something incredibly special about welcoming a baby girl into a home full of boys—and the Gallien family’s Zionsville newborn  session was nothing short of joyful. After three energetic, camera-loving brothers, their first daughter, Emily, has officially arrived!

When I arrived at their Zionsville home, I’ll admit—sometimes walking into a session with multiple young kids can feel a little intimidating. As a newborn photographer, you never quite know how siblings will respond, especially with a brand-new baby in the mix.

But any worries I had completely disappeared the moment I met the boys. They were full of personality, excitement, and absolutely loved being in front of the camera. They were eager to hold their new baby sister, make her smile (or at least attempt to!), and show off their roles as proud big brothers.

One of the best parts of being a Zionsville newborn photographer is capturing families in their own space. In-home lifestyle sessions allow everyone to feel comfortable—and that comfort truly showed with the Gallien family.

We embraced the silliness. We laughed. We let the boys be themselves. Some of my favorite moments came from the in-between giggles and playful energy that made their session uniquely them. Those are the images families treasure most—the real smiles, the natural interactions, the joyful chaos that tells their story.

I also have to mention how much I loved chatting with Laura. She is so warm, kind, and easy to talk to—truly the sweetest mom. Watching her with her four babies (yes, four!) was beautiful. She has such a calm, loving presence, and it’s clear how deeply her family adores her.
