There is something so special about getting to photograph a family more than once, and Ariel and Travis are one of those families I have been lucky enough to work with again and again. They have booked me a handful of times over the years, so when they reached out about photographing their newest addition, I was SO excited!
Most recently, I photographed their pregnancy announcement this winter, which made getting to meet their sweet new baby boy even more special. Watching a family grow in front of my camera is one of my very favorite parts of being a photographer, and getting to document these milestones for families I have already grown so fond of is such a gift.
Ariel and Travis recently welcomed their second boy, Cade, and he is the sweetest addition to their family!
And, of course, we can’t forget about big brother Chance. He is already such a sweet big brother, and it was so fun to capture the two of them together during their newborn session. There is just something about those first photos of siblings together that makes my heart melt. You can already see how much Chance loves his new little brother!
Ariel is also just the sweetest and most personable person, and I genuinely love getting to spend time with this family. After photographing them several times, their sessions feel less like showing up to photograph clients and more like catching up with friends—which is exactly why I love what I do.
For Cade’s newborn session, we focused on all of those little details that make this season so special—the tiny fingers and toes, baby snuggles, sibling moments, and lots of time together as a family.
My goal during newborn sessions is never to make everything feel overly posed or perfect. I want to capture your family as you are in this season of life. The way your toddler looks at their new sibling. The way you hold your brand-new baby. The little details you know you’ll want to remember years from now.
Those are the images that become the most meaningful.
As a Fishers newborn photographer, I love working with growing families throughout Fishers and the surrounding Indianapolis area. Whether you are welcoming your first baby or adding another little one to your crew, newborn photography is such a beautiful way to slow down and document a season that goes by far too quickly.
One of my favorite parts of photographing Ariel and Travis has been getting to watch their story unfold through my camera.
Their pregnancy announcement was just the beginning, and now I have the honor of documenting their family with two sweet boys.
This is why I love photographing families over and over again. I get to see the tiny babies become toddlers, the toddlers become big siblings, and families grow and change from one session to the next. It is incredibly special to be invited back into these seasons of life.
Cade, you are one very loved little boy, and I have a feeling big brother Chance is going to be pretty amazing at this whole big-brother thing.
Thank you, Ariel and Travis, for trusting me to document another incredibly special chapter for your family. I am already looking forward to seeing these boys grow!
