Liz & Matt’s Fun and Beautiful Garden Engagement Session at Newfields

I had such a blast with Liz and Matt during their garden engagement session at Newfields last week! From start to finish, these two kept Andrew and I laughing the entire time. Their energy was contagious, and their fun, easygoing nature made it such a joy to capture their love story.

We couldn’t have asked for better weather either. The golden light in the gardens at Newfields was absolutely perfect, and to top it off, the temperature was just right—almost humid-less for a July day! The setting for a garden engagement session at Newfields was beyond beautiful, with lush greenery, vibrant blooms, and the stunning architecture of the museum serving as the ideal backdrop. Bonus points: we pretty much had the entire place to ourselves, which made the session feel even more intimate and special.

Liz and Matt were the perfect match for such a beautiful location. They were playful, affectionate, and genuinely excited about their upcoming wedding. It’s always such a joy when a couple’s connection shines through so effortlessly during a session, and these two definitely nailed it. Whether they were exchanging sweet glances or cracking jokes with one another, it was clear that they were in their element—and we had the best time capturing it all!

I’m beyond excited for their wedding next year at INDUSTRY in downtown Indianapolis. From what I’ve seen of Liz and Matt so far, I know their big day is going to be full of laughter, love, and beautiful moments. I can’t wait to celebrate with them as they start this next chapter of their lives together!
